Description
Chewy, buttery, and loaded with chocolate chips, these sheet pan cookies are the easiest way to make a big batch of your favorite treat.
Ingredients
- 3 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups melted salted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus a little extra for topping, if you like)
Instructions
-
Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a half sheet pan (13×18”) by lining it with parchment paper and giving it a light coating of cooking spray.
-
In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter until smooth. Add both sugars along with the vanilla extract, stirring well to combine.
-
Crack in the eggs and mix again until everything is fully blended.
-
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir gently, mixing only until the dry ingredients are incorporated.
-
Pour in the chocolate chips and continue stirring until the dough looks evenly mixed.
-
Transfer the cookie dough to the prepared pan, pressing it out into an even layer from edge to edge.
-
If you like, sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips across the top.
-
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown and the bars are baked to your preferred level of doneness.
Notes
These cookies are perfect for parties or gatherings — just cut into squares and enjoy warm or cooled.
